You must be able to work independently and together with others. You must be knowledgeable in your field in such areas as anatomy, pathology and the study of materials. You must be able to empathize with patients, be good with your hands, and have a keen sense of form. It is also important that you are able to listen to patients so that you can discover their special needs.
