Electrical engineering and computer technology

The power-supply operator manages central parts of the electric nettwork and carries out operative and maintenance tasks in the low- and high voltage plants in energy production. The power-supply operator shall be able to:

• survey, operate, and maintain power plants
• use instruments, computer monitors, and signals inside the power-supply plant–s control room in connection with the production and distribution of electrical power
• follow the rules for work on power plants
