The IT operations technician works to ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT services and tools. Typical tasks include:

• Planning and evaluating the organization’s use of new technologies and IT solutions
• Operating and maintaining the organization’s IT systems
• Installing, using, and maintaining software
• Providing training and guidance in the use of IT systems
• Applying and developing procedures for the organization’s IT systems
• Providing service and user support
• Ensuring compliance with ethics and legal regulations

You must be able to work systematically and accurately, both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both written and oral, in Norwegian and English, are important. You should have the ability to think creatively, be innovative, and have an interest in new technology.
