Relocation

If you come straight from the 10-year compulsory school or are already in upper secondary school, your personal details will already have been registered in the admission system. If you have relocated within the county after  the admissions office has been given your address, you must notify the admissions office.

If you intend to relocate to another county before the next school year, you must contact the admissions office in your home county and in the county you are moving to in order to find out what rules and deadlines apply and what documentation is required.

If you are entitled to upper secondary education and training and you relocate along with your parent(s) or guardian(s), you retain that entitlement in the county you move to. If you intend to move to a parent or guardian who lives in another county, the admissions office in that county will request confirmation from the parent or guardian you are moving to. In many cases, a confirmation from the parent or guardian you are moving from is also required, stating that he or she is aware of the move.

Retten til videregående opplæring begrenses til det fylket der søker har folkeregistrert adresse pr. 1. mars. Du kan søke tilbud i Rogaland selv om du ikke er bosatt i fylket. Søkere fra andre fylker rangeres bak fylkets egne søkere.

Søkere som planlegger å flytte til Rogaland

Søkere med opplæringsrett fra andre fylker, og som planlegger å flytte til Rogaland, må registrere søknad på videregående opplæring i vigo innen søknadsfrist. Du må også registrere flyttingen og laste opp dokumentasjon i digitalt skjema som du finner på Rogaland fylkeskommune sin skjemaside innen 1.mars. 

Følgende dokumentasjon må sendes til inntakskontoret:

  • Flyttingen må dokumenteres i form av signert leie- eller kjøpskontrakt av bopel i Rogaland innen 1. mars.
  • Dersom du skal flytte sammen med eller til foresatte, må flyttingen dokumenteres med en bostedsattest eller arbeidskontrakt på foresatte innen 23. juni.

For å være med i inntaket, må søker selv framlegge dokumentasjon på at det er meldt flytting til folkeregisteret innen 23. juni.

Dersom flytting ikke er registrert i folkeregisteret til skolestart, vil søker miste sitt tilbud om skoleplass.
