Relocation

If you come straight from the 10-year compulsory school or are already in upper secondary school, your personal details will already have been registered in the admission system. If you have relocated within the county after  the admissions office has been given your address, you must notify the admissions office.

If you intend to relocate to another county before the next school year, you must contact the admissions office in your home county and in the county you are moving to in order to find out what rules and deadlines apply and what documentation is required.

If you are entitled to upper secondary education and training and you relocate along with your parent(s) or guardian(s), you retain that entitlement in the county you move to. If you intend to move to a parent or guardian who lives in another county, the admissions office in that county will request confirmation from the parent or guardian you are moving to. In many cases, a confirmation from the parent or guardian you are moving from is also required, stating that he or she is aware of the move.

Flytteregler for videregående opplæring i Østfold 
 

Retten til videregående opplæring begrenses til det fylket der søker har folkeregistret adresse per 1. mars. Du kan søke tilbud i Østfold fylkeskommune selv om du ikke er bosatt i fylket. Søkere fra andre fylker rangeres bak fylkets egne søkere.

Søkere som flytter til Østfold

Dersom du ikke er folkeregistrert i Østfold ved søknadsfristen 1. mars, kan du likevel bli vurdert til inntak i videregående opplæring eller formidling til læreplass i Østfold fylkeskommune – dersom du skal flytte hit og oppfyller vilkårene.

Vilkår for å bli vurdert som søker i Østfold

  1. Du må ha til hensikt å bosette deg fast i Østfold.
  2. Innen 1. juni må du sende inn dokumentasjon som viser at flyttingen skal finne sted. Følgende dokumentasjon kan brukes:
    • Kopi av folkeregistrert adresse eller bekreftelse på innsendt adresseendring til Folkeregisteret
    • Leie- eller kjøpekontrakt på bolig i Østfold
    • Arbeidskontrakt med arbeidssted i fylket
    • Annen dokumentasjon som sannsynliggjør varig flytting til Østfold
  3. Du må være folkeregistrert i Østfold senest ved skolestart eller oppstart av lærekontrakt.

Viktig å merke seg

Flytting innad i Østfold

  • Folkeregistrert adresse per 1. mars har betydning for nærskolepoeng ved søknad til vg1.
  • Flytting innad i Østfold må dokumenteres på lik linje med søkere som flytter til Østfold.
  • Dokumentasjon på flytting innad i Østfold må sendes inn via følgende flyttemeldingsskjema: Intern flytting - melding om flytting innad i Østfold innen 1. juni.
