Electrical engineering and computer technology

A ventilation technician works with indoor and outdoor climate and energy-saving measures in residential dwellings and commercial/industrial buildings. You will work with:

• installing and adjusting ventilation systems
• operating, servicing and maintaining climate installations
• connecting and programming control systems
• assessing indoor climates and energy assessment of climate installations
• producing fittings etc. to protect buildings against climate and environmental damage, such as wind, snow, heat and moisture 
• drawings and technical specifications

A ventilation worker must have knowledge about the technical and structural aspects of buildings and good professional knowledge about electro-systems, refrigeration and automation. You must be able to work independently and in a structured way, and also in collaboration with other experts. You should have good manual skills.
