Apprentice/training candidate and training establishment

In upper secondary education, there are about 200 programs leading to vocational qualifications with a trade or journeyman’s certificate. These are called apprenticeship trades. You can also take vocational education as a training candidate (lærekandidat) or practice-based trainee (praksisbrevkandidat), with training adapted to your needs and goals.
