Universities and Colleges Admission Service (SO)

The Universities and Colleges Admission Service, better known as SO (for "samordna opptak"), administers admissions to basic studies at universities, scientific colleges and public and private colleges.

• You can find a complete overview of studies that have been organised under SO in the study overview.
• You apply through the samordnaopptak website. This is where you will also upload the necessary documentation for your application.
• You may contact Samordna opptak by dialling 21 49 56 09 or sending an e-mail to sokerinfo@samordnaopptak.no.

Some courses of study that have an entrance exam, or colleges that charge students school fees are not organised under SO. When applying to schools that are not associated with SO, you must send your application directly to the institution in question using that schools’ own application form.
