Waste recovery machine operator (craft certificate)

The waste recovery machine operator should be able to

• receive and later sort waste fit for recycling and end-treatment
• use machines and equipment for waste recovery processes at the waste recovery plant
• service machines and other equipment used for weights and measures, impaction, breaking, pressing, and other mechanical processes for waste recovery
• carry out routine maintenance of machines and equipment
• prepare and mark the waste for further processing and transport from the plant

You should be environmentally conscious and service-oriented, and you should be able to work meticulously and systematically.
