Seafood production technician (craft certificate)

Key tasks include:

• reception, control and handling of raw materials
• participate in the entire production process
• logistics, packing, and traceability
• production control checks and inventory control
• use and simple maintenance of machines, tools, and other equipment

A seafood production technician should be systematic, efficient, rational, and hygienic, and know his trade well. He should have technical insight and be able to service machines. An understanding of global markets, other markets, and customer demands is important, as are good interpersonal skills and an understanding of other cultures.
