Key tasks include:

• planning, carrying out, assessment, and documentation of servicing
• maintenance and testing of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• maintenance and testing of fuels, rotors, propeller systems, and structures in an aircraft, and components that belong to these systems when they are disassembled from an aircraft

To work within security zones at Norwegian airports, an expanded certificate of good conduct (a complete police certificate) is required.
