Duodji is a Sami handicraft and cultural tradition. As an indigenous people the Sami have created their clothes and functional and decorative items from natural materials and developed the handicraft called duodji.
A horn, bone and metal duojár works in small handicraft enterprises and workshops, such as silversmiths and artistic and functional handicraft enterprises.
A horn, bone and metal duojár produces, repairs and maintains traditional and new products made of horn, bone and metal. These could be knives, horn sheaths, hide scrapers, weaver’s reeds, spoons, jacket clasps, belt buttons and jewellery. The horn, bone and metal duojár also develops new products from the perspective of an indigenous people.
