Knitting craftsman (journeyman’s certificate)

Daily tasks for knitting craftsmen are these: design, development, production and sales of clothing and textiles, based on independent creativity and design capability, customers’ needs, tradition, fashions and trends.

Key tasks include:

• Knitting of clothing and textiles, by machine and by hand
• Preparation of materials, equipment and machines. Cleaning and maintenance, finishing and quality assurance
• Design ideas, product development and reconstruction
• Cooperation with customers, suppliers and others
• Customer service, sales and marketing
• Operation, finance and networking
