Building and construction

A well driller, dry land, works with drilling subsoil wells for water supplies or energy wells for heating and cooling. You will work with:

• drilling for subsoil water for housing, cabins, farms and municipal facilities
• environmental drilling for subsoil studies and monitoring
• assessing soil mechanics when drilling
• choosing drilling methods and equipment
• installing pump facilities and pressure tanks for water supplies
• drilling in rock and soil
• maintenance of drill rigs, high pressure compressors and drill hammers and the tools used with them

A well driller, dry land, must be responsible, exact and able to work independently. Good collaborative skills are required, as well as the ability to deal with equipment and machinery in a safe and appropriate manner.
