Educational Psychological Counselling Service (PPT)

Everyone associated with upper secondary education and training – pupils, apprentices, training candidates, parents, teachers, professional managers – are entitled to get in touch with and seek help from the PPT, which gives advice and guidance on problems of a personal, social or academic nature.

PPT counsellors have a duty of confidentiality. Whatever is said is not spread further, unless you give your permission. With your consent, PPT will work with your family, you school and other agencies, such as the health and social services, the labour and welfare organisation and the follow-up service.

PPT usually makes the expert appraisal if you are entitled to special education classes or are in need of adapted teaching or special arrangements for tests and exams.

The counselling service at your upper secondary school will help you get in touch with PPT in your county.
