You can choose between 15 education programmes. On the pages for the education programmes you will find a description of the programme areas, which options your county offers and which options are offered by specific schools.
Are you applying for Vg1?
You must apply for three different education programmes in order of priority. The same applies in cases of re-selection. If you list fewer than three options, you may be placed on an education programme you have not applied for.
You are not entitled to admission to a specific school, even though you are allowed to prioritize schools. If you are unable to compete your way into one of the schools of your choice, you may be offered placement at a school you have not applied for.
Are you applying for Vg2, Vg3 or an apprenticeship position?
You are only entitled to a place in a programme area for which you are qualified. The same applies in cases of re-selection. List several preferences. You should as far as possible take advantage of all the opportunities afforded on the application form.

IB Diploma programme i Innlandet fylkeskommune er et tilbud til elever som har fullført Vg1 på en norsk videregående skole, IB Middle Years Programme (MYP 5) eller har annen likeverdig grunnutdanning (Studiespesialisering, Idrettsfag, Kunst design og arkitektur, Musikk, dans og drama eller Medier og kommunikasjon) fra Norge eller utlandet.
Søkeren må være norske statsborger, eller ha oppholdstillatelse i Norge. Søkere som er bosatt i Innlandet fylkeskommune har fortrinn.
Det er inntil 30 plasser ved hver skole per årskull ved hver av de to skolene, og inntak skjer på grunnlag av søkernes gjennomsnittskarakter som vanligvis må være minimum 4.0.
Søkere med gjennomsnittskarakterer lavere enn 4.0 fra Vg1, vil normalt ikke tilbys plass på programmet. Søkere kan heller ikke ha lavere karakter enn 4 i følgende fag: Under spesielle omstendigheter, og hvis det finnes ledige plasser, vil søkere med en gjennomsnittskarakter mellom 3,7 - 4,0 kunne tas inn på programmet. I slike tilfeller avholdes et møte mellom skole og søker, søkers foresatte og tidligere lærere, der elevens mulighet for å gjennomføre programmet vurderes.
Elevene må ha fullført siste året på MYP 5 og har to muligheter: De kan enten søke Pre-IB, og deretter søke videre på IB Diploma programme, eller de kan søke direkte inn til IB Diploma programme.
IB MYP til Norske karakterer
Søkere må ha fullført utdanning som tilsvarer norsk Vg1 eller MYP 5. Fullstendig dokumentasjon som viser til nivå, fag, karakterer sendes til inntakskontoret i Innlandet fylke før 1. mars. IB-koordinatorer på Elverum videregående skole eller Gjøvik videregående skole kan kontaktes for informasjon om skjemaer og adresser. Inntakskontoret regner om søkernes karakterer til norske karakterer.
Grunnskole IB-koordinator er sammen med ungdomsskolens rådgivere ansvarlige for å informere elever og foresatte om IB Diploma programme. Elever i 9. og 10. klasse har mulighet til utprøvningsdager på de to videregående skolene som tilbyr programmet. Videregående skole Elever og foresatte til elever i Vg1 vil bli invitert til informasjonsmøte om fagvalg i god tid før søknadsfristen 1. mars.
Elever i IB1 må kvalifisere seg til IB2. Følgende krav stilles til elever for å bli overflyttet fra IB1 til IB2:
The Diploma programme in Innlandet fylkeskommune considers applicants from the Norwegian National Curriculum (NNC), the IB Middle Years Programme, and from other educational programmes in Norway and abroad. Applicant must be Norwegian citizens or hold a residence permit. Applicants with a residential address in Innlandet fylkeskommune will have priority. Admissions are competitive and based on grade average and there are 30 available places in each cohort, and places are offered to applicants with the highest grade averages. Applicants with an NNC grade average lower than 4.0 or equivalent from an alternative educational system will normally not be considered qualified for the programme. Applicants must not have grades lower than NNC 4 in the following subjects: Exceptions apply for students who studied KDA, Music, or Media or a similar study programme in their first year of upper secondary. In special circumstances, and where there are available places, applicants with a grade average between 3.7 and 4.0 may be considered for admission. In such cases, a decision is made by the school after consultation with the applicant, their parents/legal guardians, the applicant’s previous teachers, and careful consideration of their unique situation. National and regional rules for special admission status may also apply for applicants subject to Norwegian laws and regulations. Students applying from the NNC Applicants must have completed and passed a VG1 studieforberedende (freshman) year. This may be in any of the NNC’s college preparatory programs. Students applying from the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) Applicants must have completed and passed their final MYP year. They may apply directly to the Diploma Programme or apply to a VG1 college preparatory program in the NNC and then to the DP. Students applying from other systems Applicants must have completed and passed an equivalent of the VG1 year in the NNC or the final year of the MYP. The admissions office will convert grades to NNC equivalents on a case-by-case basis.
Elever som søker direkte fra MYP til IB Diploma programme vil få sine karakterer omregnet til norske karakterer av inntakskontoret.
