A floral designer carries out daily tasks based on the customer’s needs and requirements. Key tasks include:

• Development and implementation of various techniques and styles: bouquets, decorations, flower and plant arrangements, wreaths, bridal bouquets etc.
• Decoration in and of various rooms and halls
• Stock purchase, product knowledge and treatment of cut flowers and pot plants, use of materials, sales and marketing of products and services, inventory control.
• Customer cooperation and customer service
• Cleaning at the workplace and general duties

You must be creative, be able to offer good customer service, be dexterous and have a good aesthetic appreciation.
