A goldsmith produces, repairs and sells jewellery made from precious metals, also precious stones, pearls etc. The work is characterized by many challenging handicraft skills. Key tasks include:

• Production of jewellery made of gold, silver and other materials, also with precious stones, pearls and production of production models of metal/wax, with the aid of ICT.
  
• Concept development, design and production of client sketches up to the finished product.
• Restoration and maintenance of jewellery and other objects made of precious metals.
• Machining of materials, smelting, rolling, forging and extrusion.
• Use of chemical substances in various work processes.
• Direct customer contact, communication, guidance and service.
