Building and construction

The trade involves the insulation of pipes, tanks, valves, ceilings and walls, the mounting of data-floors and fire doors, and the sealing of perforations. Key tasks include:

• heat and cold conservation
• frost protection
• fire protection
• noise reduction
• condensation insulation

Insulation work requires proficiency in reading drawings/plans and detailed descriptions. You should be able to work systematically and do your job in a safe manner. Proficiency in languages and mathematics are key requirements.
