A men’s tailor designs and manufactures clothes. Depending on where the company is located, different types of clothes are manufactured to fit a variety of functions, personal requirements and the general market. Key tasks include

• Design, measurement, patternmaking and alterations of clothes
• the manufacture of clothes with good balance, or preparation for the same
• Use of various machines/various equipment and tools/presses
• Use of ICT and digital aids suited to the trade
• Evaluation and choice of materials
• Customer service and guidance

You must be creative and dexterous, and have an appreciation of form, colour and aesthetics. You must also be service-minded and have the ability to make contacts.
